WILKA 3VS double cylinder

The 3VS system is the new Sinus reversible key profile.

SINUS - this is the name of the new system family from WILKA. The new keyways meet all the expectations put on cylinders in complex locking systems.

Patent protection until 2036

Basic length:

Emergency and danger function

This function enables the locking cylinder to be blocked even if a key with blocking authorisation is inserted on the opposite side. With this option the cylinder is supplied with a free-running locking cam.

Seawater resistance:

seawater resistant version for damp rooms (e.g. bathrooms, sauna, cold storage rooms ...)
locking cam and fixing screw made of brass
knob cylinder with brass knob
all pin locking elements made of brass (nickel plated)
not combinable with the option: increased drilling protection (ABH IX / X) or pulling protection

Freewheel (on request):

The profile cylinders which have a freely rotating cam are designated as freewheel cylinders.
The cam can be moved 360° freely when no key is inserted.
When the key is inserted, the spring-loaded clutch engages in the cam. This then allows the cylinder to be closed in the conventional way with the key.

Usually only necessary for special panic or automatic locks. If in doubt, please check with the door manufacturer.
